When preparing to write this week’s “Something Moore” article, I spent plenty of time on how I would do it. I certainly couldn’t be conventional, with just a biography plus awards. Minton was much more than a TV meteorologist, she made an incredible impression on anyone who crossed paths with her, and even viewers at home who never met her but she made them feel like they did. The phrase “colleague but also a friend” is used a lot, but it’s so true with Karen.

I’ll miss seeing her and working with her and learning from her every day. She’s a dear friend and I wish nothing but the best.”
